Visit Psychedelic Club at SOAP

Will Pittsburgh start bleeding more than just black and gold? Could the psychedelic movement that has started to sweep the nation soon be a theme we can see in Pittsburgh? With the presence of Sleeping Octopus Assembly on Psychedelics II our hope is that the Steel Curtain can be pierced by a wave of psychedelia. The Sleeping Octopus Assembly on Psychedelics (SOAP) is happening on September 28-29th in Pittsburgh PA and offers the chance to interact with the above ground realm of psychedelic medicine. . Within the mansion which contains the event you will find various speakers, wellness practitioners, art exhibits, tasty snacks, and other unique opportunities such as a Zendo Project psychedelic harm reduction training. A There’s also a party with live entertainment on Saturday night! Speakers include Rick Doblin Ph.D, Founder and Executive Director of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), Sara Gael M.A. and Ryan Beauregard, Director and Manager of the Zendo Project, Mitchell Gomez, Executive Director of DanceSafe, Leaders of the Huni Kuin tribe, indigenous to the Humaita River, Acre, Brazil, Tricia Eastman, medicine woman in Iboga traditions,  

Kilindi Iyi, mycologist and head instructor and technical advisor of Tamerrian Martial Art Institute, Shannon Clare Carlin M.A., A.M.F.T., Associate Director of Training and Supervision of MAPS Public Benefit Corporation (MAPS PBC), Sheri Eckert P.C., M.A. and Tom Eckert  L.P.C., M.A., co-founders of the Oregon Psilocybin Society (OPS) and authors of the 2020 Psilocybin Service Initiative, Gül Dölen, M.D., Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Neuroscience, Brain Science Institute, Johns Hopkins University, Dr. David Rabin M.D. Ph.D, neuroscientist and Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder of Apollo Neuroscience, Jade Netanya Ullmann (moderator); Hannah McLane, MD, MA, MPH; Michelle Joy, MD and Dawn McCollough, MDMA Expanded Access Panel.
